Le MCO des hélicoptères de la Garde nationale saoudienne pour DynCorp

DynCorp vient de décrocher un contrat d'une valeur annuelle de près de 69 millions de dollars, avec le Saudi Arabian National Guard Aviation Command (la garde prétorienne du régime, forte d'une centaine de milliers d'hommes):
"DynCorp International, Fort Worth, Texas, was awarded a $68,961,578 firm-fixed-price, foreign military sales contract (Saudi Arabia), with options, for integrated maintenance support services for the Saudi Arabian National Guard Aviation. Work will be performed in Saudi Arabia, with an estimated completion date of Feb. 17, 2020. Bids were solicited via the Internet with six received. Fiscal 2015 other procurement funds in the amount of $68,961,578 are being obligated at the time of the award. Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal (Aviation), Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, is the contracting activity (W58RGZ-15-C-0033)."

Depuis 2010, DynCorp assure aussi le MCO des hélicoptères du Royal Saudi Land Forces Aviation Command (RSLFAC).

Le Saudi Arabian National Guard Aviation Command a été créé en 2006 mais ne disposait pas alors d'appareils. En octobre 2010, une FMS avait été autorisée par les autorités US, portant sur la vente de:
36 AH-64D Block III Apache
72 UH-60M Blackhawk
36 AH-6i (photo ci-dessus Boeing)
12 MD-530F
et sur la fourniture d'équipements annexes, ainsi que de prestations de formation et de soutien, d'une valeur de 25 milliards de dollars.

Les commandes effectives, à l'automne 2014, ont porté sur
12 MD-530 (fourni par Northrop Grumman via sa filiale Vinnell Arabia et en partenariat avec PAE, AAR Inc., QinetiQ North America etS3 Inc.),
12 AH-64E Apache,
24 AH-6i
et 24 UH-60M Black Hawk.

Les livraisons sont attendues dans les premiers mois de l'année en cours.

Autre bonne nouvelle pour DynCorp: une extension de contrat de maintenance aéronautique d'une année en Afghanistan:
"DynCorp International, Fort Worth, Texas, was awarded a $34,353,702 modification (P00072) to cost-plus-fixed-fee contract W58RGZ-13-C-0040 for aviation maintenance service for Operation Enduring Freedom. Fiscal 2015 operations and maintenance (Army) funds in the amount of $34,353,702 were obligated at the time of the award. Estimated completion date is Dec. 31, 2015. Work will be performed in Afghanistan. Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal (Aviation), Redstone Arsenal, Alabama is the contracting activity. (Note: This contract was awarded Feb. 17, 2015.)"
