La marine brésilienne installe 14 canons téléopérés REMAX de la firme ARES sur ses bâtiments

Defensa.com) Ares, a subsidiary of AEL group, has signed a contract for the sale to the Brazilian Navy 14 weapon stations remotely Remax. Twelve of the towers will be designed to patrol coastal 500 tons Class "Macaé" while the other two will equip the U-27 school ship "Brasil" and downtown Force armament.

It can be mounted on armored vehicles, ships or fixed platforms, automated REMAX unit was designed for sizes 50 and 7.2 mm. These systems VBTP Ares equip the Iveco-MR "Guarani" Brazilian Army, which incorporated and 76 towers that model.
