Recently, the Defense Ministry received the first batch of unique mobile electronic countermeasures systems Krasukha-4. They can suppress radar spy satellites, ground radars and AWACS (Airborne Warning and Control System). So far, four of these secret systems were put into operation.
In 2012, the military bought the first series-made models of Krasukha-2 system having a narrower specialty. It is intended for counteraction to air targets alone like AWACS, flying radars like American Е-8 Joint Star and unmanned aerial vehicles like Global Hawk and Predator.
